Start picturing.

Choose the Pen Tool and draw the necessary shape of the eyes' pupils. Then click on the right mouse's button on the center of the pictured elements and choose Make Selection.



Paint the marked place with the convenient color, applying Paint Bucket Tool. Then erase it: Select ? Deselect (ctrl+d). Mark out the same way the upper eye's part and paint it with the Gradient Tool.



Using the Pen Tool, you have to accentuate with a black line the lowest part of the eye's pupil (choosing after clicking on the right mouse's button the Stroke Path?).



All the borders of the lines and nuances must be blurred out with the usual tool (Blur Tool), having 100% strength. Next step includes adding the flares (Pen Tool).



Using the Pen Tool and the Gradient Tool (with the same adjustments) add the shadows on the face, blurring them along the contours (Blur Tool).



Dark out the doll's hands also.



Applying the Dodge Tool, it's possible to accentuate the light with several motions on the doll's hand and face.



Now you have to create a new layer above the skirt's layer. Group them both: Layer ? Create Clipping Mask (ctrl+g). Then apply the Gradient Tool to add the common shadows. Using next selections: Polygonal Lasso Tool and Gradient Tool, it's possible to introduce the deepest shadows. The clear contours must be blurred out.



Make use of the next instrument (Dodge Tool) to make lighter the decolorized parts of the picture.



You may see now that it's necessary to change the color. You just have to combine these two layers and select the command Image ? Adjustments ? Hue/Saturation (ctrl+u).



Grouping the new layer and that one the belt is situated on, the sleeves, the collar, the hair's elastic and choosing the Gradient Tool, it's possible to insert the shadows on them. Apply after that the Dodge Tool to expose the light.



Merging down the layers, correct the colors' brightness and the contrast with this selection: Image ? Adjustments ? Levels (ctrl+l).
