In this tutorial I will teach you how to create a high quality futuristic wallpaper. Create a new file (File>New) with 1024x768 px and 72 dpi and apply the Rectangle Tool (U) to represent the next picture?s background.

Fill 0% on the layers.

Select now the Ellipse Tool (U) to create the primary layer of the next ellipsoidal figure to be.

Applying the last instrument, try to make the next layer.



The layer?s parameters:
Fill 0% on the layers.

Use the last applied instrument, to represent the next layer for our figure.



The layer?s parameters:
The layer?s Opacity should be situated on 50%

Select the same instrument to create one more layer belonging to the ellipsoidal figure, colored in #568F9E.

The next layer should be done with the already well known Ellipse Tool (U), which color is white.

The next layer should have the black color.



The layer?s parameters:
Blending Options>Outer Glow



 

Now we?ll pick up a new instrument ? the Pen Tool (P), to represent on the upper ellipse?s zone a thin curved stripe of white color.

Make a copy of the new made layer and select the Free Transform option to turn the copy over and place it the way it is demonstrated on the next picture, changing its parameters too. The color is #2A454C

Select the same Ellipse Tool (U) to continue representing the figure we want to be on the final picture. The next layer should have the next color #2F4751

Make a copy of the new made layer and select again the Free Transform option to lift up the copy and to change its parameters. The layer?s color is #ACACAC

Applying the same instrument, try to represent one more ellipse?s layer.

Select the Ellipse Tool (U) to draw now the lowest flare.

Apply the last instrument to represent the next layer situated on the inside central part of the figure.

We need to select the same instrument to represent the next layer on the figure inside. The layer?s color is #FFD200

Make two copies of the new made layer and change the parameters for each copy.
