This tutorial will teach you how to make a Gel text in photoshop, you can make it within a few steps, using photoshop layer style and character menu, this is a very beautiful and easy tutorial.

Begin your work by creating a new file (File>New) of 1920x1200 px and 72 dpi. Select then the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to give our file the black color.

Let's insert now a small circle slightly above the central part of the picture, using in this case the Ellipse Tool (U).

Set the next demonstrated parameters by clicking on this layer on the layers' panel:
Fill 0% Blending Options>Stroke

Make many copies of the layer containing the circle and choose after that the Free Transform option (Maintain aspect ratio) to enlarge each next copy, representing proportionally many circles:

Merge down in a group all the layers composing the dots (press CTRL button to mark out the appropriate layers and hold on the left mouse's button while moving the marked layers on Create a new group option)
Set the next demonstrated parameters for the group: Opacity 60%

Using the Rectangle Tool (U), we may dark out the circles on the picture's edges:

The layer's parameters:
Fill 0%
Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

Gradient's parameters:

Now we should insert a text on the central part of the picture:

Set the next demonstrated parameters for the text's layer:
Blending Options>Bevel and Emboss

Blending Options>Satin

Blending
Options>Gradient Overlay

Gradient's parameters:

We need to rasterize the text's layer now by clicking on the right button on the layer, choosing Rasterize Type. Then set the next parameters for the rasterized layer:
Blending Options>Inner Shadow

Blending Options>Inner Glow

Click on the same layer on the bottom part of the layers' panel on Add a Mask selection and choose a standard brush of black color to mark out the letters' edges:

Make a copy of the rasterized layer. Insert the change in the parameters of the copy's layer.
Fill 0%
Blending Options>Bevel and Emboss

Blending Options>Gradient Overlay

Gradient's parameters:

Create a new layer and select for it a standard brush of black color (Opacity 15%) to insert the shadows under the letters.

The layer's parameters: Fill 75%

Next we'll insert the paint's flow coming out of the letters, applying the Pen Tool (P) and the Convert Point Tool.

Make several copies of the recently made layer. Using the Free Transform option, place the copies exactly as in the picture below. The corrections of the copies' tops placement may be done with the Convert Point Tool.

Next we'll merge down all the layers containing the paint flow (press CTRL button to mark out the necessary layers and then hold on the left mouse's button while taking the marked layers on Create a new group option)
Mark out the group and rasterize it (CTRL+E).
Set for the last processed layer the next indicated parameters:
Blending Options>Bevel and Emboss

Blending Options>Satin

Next download out of Internet a set of ready to use brushes in Adobe Photoshop program, named Brush_set__Stars_Shine_Out_by_Azureluck
Create a new layer and apply here the downloaded brush. We'll also insert the stars on the letters' highlights. The brush has white color.

The layer's parameters:
Fill 49%
Blending mode-Hard Mix

Make a copy of the last made layer and change the parameters for the copy's layer.
Fill 100%
Blending mode-Normal

The final result!

the steps are not clear to me. you have to guess which layer the next step is. An advanced Photoshopper who is interpreting this manual badly. Don't get it. Pity.

This tutorial very cool.
I would like to try at home, but I have some difficulties to get this "gelatinuos" font. Would you help me to search this font or if you give me any site where I can download the font I appreciate that!!
Thanks!
